Inspiration can come from some of the most amazing places. Sometimes it comes from the most mundane of places, too. Take the example of Kerri-Ann Jennings, M.S., R.D., associate nutrition editor for Eating Well magazine, who explains the root of an idea she discovered during a recent dental checkup.
“We were having one of those awkward, mouth-full-of-toothpaste conversations,” she explains in the intro to the March 16, 2012, article on Foods That Are Good For Your Smile, which appears in The Huffington Post. “She was asking me about my work, when it occurred to me that I wanted to write about foods for healthier teeth.” Caution: Her “food for your smile” article contains images of great looking food – reading on an empty stomach may make you ravenous!
