Editors – New Titles in Journalism

The other day, we explored the difference between copyediting and web editing. Now, here is an article from The Christian Science Monitor examining not only all the various meanings of “editor” but also of “news” in, “The American Society of Paperless News, the shift away from newsprint has required new titles for journalism organizations,” by Ruth Walker. As a web editor, you may appreciate the many distinctions.
